FAQ

Answers to common questions about sessions, booking, tests and therapy

General

How is neuropsychology different from clinical psychology?
Besides psychotherapy, a neuropsychologist studies the relationship between brain and behaviour — measuring functions such as attention, memory, decision-making and emotion regulation with specialised tools, and designing treatment based on a precise understanding of how the brain is working.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. Everything you share is confidential. The only exceptions, in line with professional ethics, are risk to life or legal obligations.

Booking

What happens in the first session and what should I bring?
The first session is for getting to know you, hearing your concerns, taking a history and setting goals. If you have previous treatment records, test reports or current medication, please bring them.
How do online sessions work?
Once your appointment is confirmed, the video session link appears in your account and is sent by SMS. Join at the session time from a quiet place with a stable connection.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes — you can cancel from your account up to 24 hours before the session, or contact the clinic to reschedule.

Therapy

How long is a session and how many will I need?
Each session is usually 50 minutes. The number of sessions depends on your goals and situation, and we discuss it in the first sessions.

Tests

Do the online test results mean a diagnosis?
No. The tests on this site are screening tools that indicate whether a professional assessment may be helpful. Diagnosis only happens in a clinical session.
